Reaching deep into the storage, we found a few very nice examples of classic natural gold nugget jewelry using the tiny gold nuggets, called “fines”or bullion. In earlier days, and now, jewelers placed tiny gold nuggets between plastic watch crystals and fastened them together with a rim and a tiny screw. This style of jewelry has endured for years, particularly in gold mining areas. Here is a beautiful way to showcase natural gold without the need for traditional manufacturing. Each pendant looks slightly different because of the tiny nuggets inside. This lovely pendant contains clean, brightly polished natural gold nuggets. The coin edge outer rim and the attached top are 14k gold. The natural Gold nuggets will have a range of unknown purity. The display chain is not included. The nuggets inside are natural and move freely within the plastic lens holding them. Please note the front lens is slightly domed to add a bit more space for movement. The round part of the pendant is 22mm across. The penny gives a good size comparison. There is no set amount of gold inside the lens, as it is filled to be visually appealing. I do not know the weight of the gold used in the pendant. The pendant will arrive in a gift box.
