18K Yellow Gold Pendant Mount with Antique Tibet 5 Sho Buddhist Copper Coin
Unique 18K Yellow Gold Pendant mount containing a beautifully detailed Antique Tibetan 5 Sho copper coin with raised image of a Snow Lion standing in front of Mount Kailash with the Moon and Sun in the background. The reverse shows Tibetan Buddhist characters in an eight petal lotus flower. This fabulous coin is circa 1950 and was minted when the Dalai Lama was still ruling Tibet. Encased in a hammered 18K solid yellow gold mount hallmarked 18K and the letter F. A wonderful piece of history to add to your jewelry collection! I did note a small black speck on the front.
