1908 BENT OVER/CURVED 22CT FULL SOVEREIGN COIN IN 9CT GOLD RING SIZE Y 10.1g

This is a Stunning piece of Vintage and Desirable Gold Coin Jewellery. It is a Ring that has been made by setting a 1908 Bent Over or Curved 22ct Full Sovereign Coin onto a later 9ct Yellow Gold Shank. The Shank will have originally been hallmarked with a simple 9ct for the Gold Purity but it has rubbed away over time however it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold Content of both the Ring and the Coin. It is a UK size Y or approx a US size 12 1/4 and weighs 10.1g of which approx. 7.98g is the 22ct Coin and 2.12g is the 9ct Shank though be aware with the rubbing these weights are based on the original figures. The Ring is in a used and fair condition for its age with no real damage but with lots of surface wear and rubbing to the face of the Coin and some to the shank.
